Enclosed Vehicle Transport UK  are a specialist vehicle transport service, based near Chester and the North Wales border, covering the UK and Europe. 

​

We operate a fully enclosed non-liveried truck with full air suspension offering a soft supported ride.  The truck has an electric winch so non-runners are loaded with ease and vehicles, whether vintage or supercars, can be safely winched on eliminating the need to drive them.

 

We understand that a lot of time, effort and money goes into purchasing or restoring vehicles and the enclosed truck gives protection from not just the elements but damage caused by stone chips or road debris which can cause body, paintwork or glass damage. 

 

Your pride and joy is kept away from prying eyes and securely locked inside the truck during the journey.  For added privacy our vehicles are not sign-written so we can confidentially collect or deliver, perfect for higher value vehicles.  Our vehicle also has sleeper facilities so, for longer journeys, vehicles do not need to be left unattended.

We are regulated by the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency) and hold a Standard International Operators Licence to transport vehicles within the UK and Europe.

We hold Motor Trade Insurance, Public Liability Insurance and Goods In Transit Insurance.  Our Goods in Transit Insurance cover has been sourced specifically for the transportation of vehicles up to £750,000 and includes cover for loading and unloading the vehicle.  This figure can be increased if required for an additional fee.

Business Owner - Ian Collins

​

Holding an HGV Licence since 1994 and with nearly 25 years experience in the haulage industry, Ian is punctual, reliable and trustworthy.  During the last 25 years he has transported everything from excavators to nuclear fuel for British Nuclear Fuels, racing cars to aeroplane parts for British Aerospace.  He takes pride in his work and appearance and treats any vehicles he is asked to operate or transport as if it were his own.  

 

Ian has been involved in the transportation of high value racing cars including assisting teams in loading and unloading up to 6 vehicles at various circuits throughout the UK and Europe.  Ian planned routes for all trips throughout the UK and Europe which included ensuring that all relevant documentation was with the vehicle and the required records were kept up to date.  

 

In his spare time Ian followed Rally Cross events around the UK and Europe and assisted a friend who owns a small rally car preparation company.  This involved helping loading and unloading vehicles, tyre changes, refuelling and assisting the team mechanic with repairs as and when necessary. 

 

More recently Ian was involved with the MSA British Cross Country Challenge working as part of a two man team providing recovery assistance on the cross country rallys throughout the UK.

Office Manager - Jo Collins

​

Jo has over 25 years administration experience gained from various secretarial and PA roles within Financial Services and the NHS.  Jo runs the office whilst Ian is on the road which ensures quotations are provided more efficiently, telephone and email queries are dealt with on a daily basis and any queries answered promptly.
