At Enclosed Vehicle Transport UK, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers and visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that Enclosed Vehicle Transport UK is not in the business of selling, renting or trading phone or email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We don’t do that sort of thing because unsolicited calls bug us too!

Types of data we collect

 

Google Analytics

 

When someone visits www.enclosedvehicletransportuk.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

 

Personal Information

 

As part of the booking process we collect personal information including names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check that you’re happy and satisfied.  We also collect information about your vehicle including registration number and values.  This is to ensure we collect the correct vehicle and that the vehicle is insured for it’s correct value. 

 Third Parties

 

We may share personal information with other organisations imperative to our business.  We use Wave online software for our accounting purposes and copy invoices are also forwarded to our accountants for the same purpose.

 

How long do we keep your data?

 

We will not retain your data for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. Different retention periods apply for different types of data, however the longest we will normally hold any personal data is 6 years.

 

Photographs & Videos

 

We may take photographs or videos of your vehicle whilst they are being loaded or unloaded onto our trailer.  We use the photographs and videos to promote our business via our website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  We also occasionally print photographs to use on display boards at events.  We will always ensure that any registration numbers are removed from the photograph.  If you do not wish photographs or videos to be taken of your vehicle please inform us. 

 

Testimonials

 

We do ask for testimonials which we share on our website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  We are happy to accept these with full names or just initials.  Testimonials are very important for our business and, with your permission, we like to include a photograph of your vehicle with the registration number removed.

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold.
